UNICEF data highlight the urgent need for child protection worldwide: approximately 1 billion children experience violence each year, 160 million are engaged in child labour, 12 million girls are married before the age of 18 annually, about 150 million children under five lack birth registration, and more than 473 million children live in conflict-affected areas where they face increased risks of violence, exploitation, and displacement (UNICEF, 2024).

We had previlege of meeting with fellow NGOs, EWAKI and @mydia_tz to discuss the importance of local partnership and collective action. Our key take away was simple.We are stronger together.By moving beyond competition and embras collaboration,we can combine our strength expertise and resources to create great impact to the community we serve.As local NGOs, we complement government efforts and help extend support to more people in need.
