Watoto Salama Foundation (WSF) is a non-governmental organization based in Kasulu, Kigoma Region, Tanzania. Our name means "safe children" in Swahili — and that is exactly what we work for every day.
We are committed to protecting children, empowering young people, and strengthening communities through sustainable development programs. We work hand in hand with communities and partners to create safe environments where children can learn, grow, and achieve their potential.
From village child-protection committees to school clubs, from youth skills training to advocacy with local leaders — our approach is community-driven, evidence-informed, and always centered on the best interests of the child.
